German chamomile is a vibrant blue essential oil with a distinctive, herbaceous, sweet, strong scent (1 drop goes a long way!). This oil is like a lullaby for irritated skin! German chamomile’s cooling presence makes it well-loved for sore, hot, tender issues. It also said to quiet “hot” emotions—inspiring patience, hope, and forgiveness. Producing the oil is a labor intensive process, making German chamomile precious (and worth it!)

Common uses: German blue Chamomile has traditionally been used for its wound healing properties and known to be beneficial for sensitive skin. Ideal for inhalation and topical blends. Use it for muscles, joints, skincare, irritation, bug bites, scars, recovery blends, cooling, relaxation, rest, and emotional balance when moods feel hot and unpredictable.

Always use diluted. Do not apply directly to the skin. Store in a cool dark place. Oils containing farnesene and alpha-bisabolol (German Chamomile) inhibit some metabolizing enzymes (CYP2D6) and could potentiate the actions of some antidepressants such as quinidine, fluoxetine and paroxetine. Used topically or orally German Chamomile could also have drug interaction with codeine and tamoxifen.Tisserand states that these risks are considered "theoretical" based on the research meaning; " this safety area is really just beginning to emerge as something to be taken seriously,
